Following my initial free product release, this commercial product release ‘Ready Set Go’, is based on the following requirements:

We want to..

..have (in)formal salutations for our Contacts based on their language and preference to streamline our outgoing communication;
..be able to validate whether phone numbers are actually valid based on the country of the contact or account;
..be able to validate whether postal codes are actually valid based on the country of the contact or account;
..be able to validate whether an IBAN used is actually a valid IBAN based on the country of the contact or account;

This product aims to tackle the above and contains the following features:

My first product release ‘Ready Set Go’, which will consist of multiple smaller releases to speed up your deployment. This first solution in the ‘Ready Set Go’ suite is titled ‘Contact Salutation’ and includes:

A new Language table where salutations for different genders and formalities can be defined;
Additions to the Contact table:
- A ‘Language’ lookup column;
- A ‘Formality’ choice column with values ‘Formal’ and ‘Informal’;
- A ‘Salutation’ Formula column that generates based on the contact’s language (custom), formality (custom) and gender (default);
- A ‘Ready Set Go Contact Form’ form which includes all necessary fields;
- A ‘Ready Set Go Contact Salutation View’ view which includes all necessary fields;
- A new security role ‘Ready Set Go - Contact Salutation’. This allows users to read and append data from the Language table;
- A new model driven app ‘Ready Set Go’ to configure the languages;
